Overview
CuraLife is a startup whose mission is to provide customers with Type 2 diabetes medications and other solutions.
As a product designer at CuraEats, I was responsible for conducting research, ideation, prototyping, and testing to ensure that the application meets the needs of its target users. My main responsibility was to conduct research on the needs and pain points of people with Type-2 Diabetes. This involved interviewing patients, consulting medical experts, and analyzing market research to gain insights into the challenges they face and the features they would find most valuable in an application. Based on this research, I was able to generate ideas for features and functionalities that would help users manage their diabetes more effectively. This was done through brainstorming and ideation sessions with other members of the team, including product managers and developers, to generate innovative ideas that address user needs. Once we identified the key features of the application, we then created prototypes that demonstrate how the app would work in practice. The point of this was to create wireframes and test them with users to refine the design and ensure that it is intuitive and easy to use. Overall, my role as a product designer at CuraEats required me to work closely with other members of the team to develop an app that meets the needs of people with Type-2 Diabetes and helps them manage their condition more effectively. By conducting research, ideation, prototyping, and testing, I played a critical role in ensuring that the app is user-centered, intuitive, and effective in achieving its goals.
